Thank you for your kind words. I hadn't intended my employment woes to migrate over to this board. The company for which I had worked for several years and for which my team had produced unique, core technology suddenly decided it could do without its Utah engineering field office and gave us all walking papers. It took us all by surprise.

I've interviewed at Lockheed, TRW, and Thiokol but nobody's really hiring right now. Moog is smaller, but I'm hoping therefore to have more responsibility than I would get at any of the "biggies". We'll see. I may stay in software for a while.
