I'm just wondering what the current general thinking in cosmological circles is on the subject of alternative universes? Does the seemingly more common idea that there's no eventual "big shrink" and subsequent fresh "big bang" mean it's unlikely there are other universes at all? Is there a link between alternative universes and what woowoo sites refer to as "time slips", or there some kind of bad science dimensional explanation that these people generally accept?
