Globular cluster mystery...where'd the Mg go?

The authors post a new mystery. The origin of globular clusters in the halo of the Milky Way remains somewhat puzzling with a new aspect. One particular cluster, NGC 2419, is Mg deficient and K enriched in ~ 40 % of its giant stars. This has never been seen before, and the cause remains to be found. SEE:http://arxiv.org/abs/1208.0195

NGC 2419 may really have an extragalactic origin as, for example, the remains of a small galaxy captured and disrupted by the Milky Way.

Well, that explains it -- it's an alien.
Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.
