Pictures galaxies more far away 10 billion light year contrary direction of HUDF?

Please, I would like to confirm that has been pictured galaxies (or other entities...like nebulae,...) at far away distances (more than 10 billions light years) in other direction than HUDF (Hubble Ultra Deep Field)...and better in the contrary direction of HUDF (roating 180º).

Can we see the same type of galaxies than in the HUDF?
May you show to me were I can see them?....web,...

In the "consensus" LambdaCDM cosmology, lookback time of 10 billion years corresponds roughly to a measured redshift z=1.9. There are numerous Hubble imaging fields (and even more fields observed with large ground-based telescopes) with many galaxies and quasars confirmed to be more distant than this, some of these images predating not only the HUDF but the original HDF.

Some examples, with sample image links and approximate RA/dec coordinates:

    53W002 field 1713+50 (sep=150)
Hubble Deep Field (HDF) 1236+62 (surrounded by GOODS-N) (sep=135)
    Hubble Deep Field-South (HDFS) 2232-60 (sep=59)
HUDF 0332-27 (surrounded by GOODS-S, GEMS-S, and Chandra Deep Field)
    COSMOS field 1000+02 (sep=97)

In some of these there are catalogs of hundreds (or thousands) of galaxy spectra with large and well-measured redshifts, complementing the high-resolution Hubble images. At the end of each line is the angular distance in degrees from the HUDF.

Wikipedia has a list of very-high-redshift quasars, whose distribution on the sky so far mostly reflects the coverage of the surveys used to find them. Some of them are within about 10 degrees of being exactly opposite to the HUDF.

The question you raise is a good one, but in case you, or others may not know, it was answered directly with the HDF-S imaging, as referenced in ngc3314's 3rd link. But these were prior to the HUDF imaging, admittedly.

The NGC 3314 is a pair of overlapping spiral galaxies between 117-140 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra... they are not at billion....

George made ngc3314 bold font to indicate it is a forum username, a tradition here that dates back to... I can't remember. He's referring to the forum member who posted the first response to your question.

That would explain why my ISP sometimes takes so long for email to show up... maybe if I appended an a to specify the foreground address it might help.

    OK...I see...of course.

I have to do the contrary and ask RickJ name an galaxy or quasar still not classified with my Nick !!!

I had a hunch you were closer than 117 million lyrs. away! [I knew you weren't the 140 million lyr. one.]

I was surprised that the HDF did have some z=5 galaxies. That's beter than I remembered.
