Relativity: The Special and General Theory

Hi,

I'm currently reading Einstein's classic "Relativity: The Special and General Theory". I'm quite amazed what a concise and understandable well-written short text it is.

However, I'm looking for this text in the original(?) German and Google doesn't seem to offer a link anywhere, despite the text long being out of copyright. The English version I have is the 1920 publication of the original from 1916. I put the "?" after "original" because I presume there *was* a German original document that was published separately, as opposed to the publication in the "Annalen der Physik".

Is anybody able to offer assistance in form of a link? I should add that I'm after a text that actually includes all the proper figures and tables. I've found a number of transcripts which are missing those, making following the text nigh impossible.

EDIT: it might be helpful if I clarify that I meant that I'm after an electronic format (epub, pdf, etc).

Searching for that, and 'epub', I do get several hits. Some seem to require subscriptions. One site offering free ebooks links here. Doesn't seem to be a very high quality ebook, but maybe with the German title you can find a better copy. Don't forget to leave a link if you do ;-)

Thanks for that - it was the title that helped find the results. However, as you said, right now it's "free links are bad quality" - and the others require sign-up for unknown quality. I haven't decided to add to my already burgeoning collection of various web logins yet. Likely I'll crack eventually.
