What do you guys think of the Iron Core Sun Theory?

I find Oliver Manuel's thoughts to be very interesting, conceptually at least.
I assume that most people here disagree with many of his ideas, as it goes against mainstream standard theory.


But I am curious...
1) What specific observations does the theory not explain well?
2) Additionally, what are some of the strongest arguments refuting the theory?
3) Which, if any, of his ideas do you think may be worth exploring further?

I need to close this thread and explain some things about ATM to you.

If you have not done so, I strongly urge you to review our rules (particularly rule 13) and the Advice for ATM Advocates.

There are a couple of problems with your ATM threads. First, the rules state that you may only have one ATM thread you have created open at a time. Second, ATM is not for developing your ideas, or for "just asking" about ATM ideas. Your "light" thread is a little close to the "developing your idea" problem, but as you've given it some thought, I'm letting it go for the moment.

The Iron Sun idea has been discussed many times on BAUT. If you do a little searching, you will find several threads about it. If you are "just asking" about it, you can start a thread in Q&A, but you MUST make sure you are not advocating this ATM idea. If, when your other thread is done, you wish to advocate the Iron Sun idea, you can start a new thread in ATM, but you will be expected to defend the idea.
