Hello everyone,

Some of you might remember me.

Four years ago, I posted a topic here with a 'theory' that was based on a thought experiment. It involved a lot of ideas, most of which I unsuccesfully tried to explain or defend. One of the primary reasons for that was that I had expanded far too early on a fundation that wasn't solid enough to support those ideas, making everything that followed equally unstable. I hadn't taken enough time to think everything through back then, resulting in a topic in which I tried to match the things that I had come up with, with the remarks that were given in an attempt to take everyone's criticisms at heart and to do something with them. Needless to say that this didn't work, as I had to constantly change, re-research and rewrite everything. It was an experience that I had learned a lot from and which I though I would never repeat again in order to avoid making the same mistakes as back then.

Today, however, I would like to give it another go after some recent events that have caused me to revisit one idea that I had launched back that in particular: the notion of time. It was the core and fundation of everything I had written back then. Sadly, I myself did not understand well enough at that time in order to explain it properly for it to be given any credibility. Having revisited, found new insights and expanded upon the original premise back then (which is still intact), while at the same time leaving out anything else, I would like to try again with this new attempt and humbly ask permission to the moderators in order to do so.

The reason for why I would like permission first is because I really don't want history to repeat itself by creating another topic in which I make the same mistakes as back then or by falling into the same pitfalls of others. I am posting this primary for myself and for those who are interested in it. All challenges are welcome and I will do my utmost best to adress them as good as I can in an a reasonable amount of time, but I have no intention of fighting a battle here. I've been down that road before in my previous attempt, am not really proud of the way I handled things back then and don't want to go there anymore. If this topic is to be explored further, I again humbly request that it happens in a friendly atmosphere of respect both from my side, but also from anyone who feels up to the challenge. If this is not the case, I'd prefer not to continue defending my ideas and have the topic closed or deleted alltoghether. Last but not least, I don't mind being told that what I have to offer here is not allowed at all and if that should be the case, I again have no problem with this thread either being closed or removed.

Having said this, there is one last thing I should make clear from the start: I am not a physicist. What I have written is a document that provides a logical explanation for what time truly is, from a metaphysical perspective. It does not include any math or formulas that may back it up. I tried to do it last time upon request and failed miserably at it. This also means that I have no 'real' mathematical proof. However, I also believe that first of all in order to understand the premise the math is not required and that secondly everything that I have written CAN be verified and tested upon current mainstream frameworks. I will also provide some examples in it that match with our everyday experience of time as we know it and which explain certain scenarios that may be the key for anyone here on the forum to consider it as 'viable'.

Wow, that was a longer than expected intro. Let's see if I can post the actual hypothesis in the following posts...
If not, you can already find it at the following url: https://docs.google.com/document/pub...ndHWlsY3Z5fDZA
