I am too and I wish them the best. I think the best thing that could happen is for several of the commerical operations, not just SpaceX, to succeed, either with cargo or manned systems. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having multiple options, with different capabilities and costs, to pick from.
That appears to be the NASA view as well, though I believe that yet again Congress has stuck its oar in and tried to insist on NASA down-selecting to one choice? Though the article I read didn't seem to think it had much chance of getting put into effect.
Best solution is probably Dragonrider, Dreamchaser, and CST-100 as back up capsule. I exclude Blue Origin simply because of their excessive secrecy and the difficulty of getting a real idea of how close they really are to a working vehicle.
