I got this shot of the Milky Way center rising over Frosty Drew Observatory in Charlestown, Rhode Island on May 19, 2012.

Camera: Canon S95 (CHDK) with Intervalometer attached piggy-back to equatorial 4" SCT for tracking.

Very impressive!! You are motivating me to get off my backside and do some serious stuff with my S130 (also chdk'd). While I'm near a city, it's only a moderately short drive to escape the worst of the ambient..
