In between your toes, or elsewhere?

Ugh, I hate flip-flops AKA thongs AKA shower shoes. They never stay on. I remember when they were called thongs too. The footwear and the underwear both use "thong" as a metonymy since in both cases there is a functional part that is, indeed, a Y-shaped type of strap called a thong.

I was under the impression that to help prevent PM spam newbies weren't able to send PMs, is this no longer the case?

No, you are not. I tried getting into the fashion but that part between my big and second toe gets irritated. I am just a socks kind of person. I hate bare feet.

There's a strict limit to the amount they can send, but as far as I remember it was pointed out that having such a block made it impossible to make a throwaway account in order to pm the moderators about a problem with the real one. It also made it impossible for new members to answer mails from moderators about behavior that needed changed.

I never realized how loud flipflops really are.

We are having a cookout at our company today, and people are allowed to wear picnic attire. We have hundreds of people in our building.

All morning long I keep hearing "fwap, fwap, fwap...".

I'd think flip-flops violate some OSHA rule, and I doubt they have a picnic day exception.
