Radar equipment nowadays is considerably better than it was in the 1950s; photographic equipment is much more widespread than it was in the 1950s. But the quality and number of radar detections has not increased, rather they seem to have decreased considerably; recent photographic evidence of UFOs is also no better than it was in the 1950s (though CGI fakes are very common on YouTube, unfortunately).

It has to be noted that still images and footage of all manner of extraordinary events has markedly increased in quantity and quality in the last decade; disasters terrorism, accidents, the news media is seldom short of material from the public. UFO's appear to be the exception. The pictures were grainy blobs in the 60s and 70s, and the ones that aren't faked still are today.

    See? There you go.

It just shows that sometimes we have clear footage, and sometimes we don't. With ET-UFO's we don't have any clear footage at all.

We might not have enough angles for the pentagon, but have plenty with the WTC. So; is this proof that WTC was real but the pentagon was not?

Single events as an analogy don't hold up when we are saying there should be SOME clear examples of verifiable UFO coverage from the thousands of sightings.

This is an important point. There will always be unidentifiable fuzzy blobs appearing at the limits of detection, no matter how sophisticated our sensors are. A hundred years from now, when all the space between the surface of the Earth out to beyond the orbit of the Moon will no doubt be continually scanned in a wide range of wavelengths to monitor commercial aircraft, spacecraft and spacejunk, there will still be fuzzy blobs at the edge of detectability. A thousand years from now the same will be true of the entire solar system.

When we finally meet intelligent extraterrestrial beings I have no doubt they will have their own records of fuzzy blobs at the edge of detectabilty as well.

Re the quality of UFO images and video, I'm reminded of a comment I saw on a typically jerky, low-resolution, YouTube video, supposedly showing a UFO...

"Did you film this with a potato??"
