## Halve the Hubble constant!

There seems to be a case for halving the Hubble constant .....(as defined by (a dot)/a), where a is the scale factor of the universe.....and redefining Hubbles law as v=2Hd.

The matter density then appears as 0.25 as it is rho/(rho critical) and rho critical is 3H^2/(8*pi*G).

So the matter density, although really 1.0 appears as 0.25, i.e. dark energy would be an illusion.

How is this different from the previous ATM threads, started by you, on this topic?

Dear Nereid,

Hello again!

Just in that more studies on the cosmological parameters have been done, using new data.

The latest publications have not ruled out the proposal e.g. http://arxiv.org/pdf/1202.2889v1.pdf figure 1 and table 1, with omega(matter) being approx 0.256 (0.007) a good match to the predicted 0.25 value.

Let's see what the Planck data has to say...

How does your paper account for the lensed CMB power spectrum requiring a ΩΛ (dark energy component) at 3.2σ level? Since you don't even mention the CMB power spectrum. For that matter, how do you explain the CMB, if your Hubble Parameter is half that of what is used to explain the CMB? How does your paper explain and match the observations of the Baryonic Acoustic Oscillations?

5. That vixra URL in the OP is the same one used here: http://www.bautforum.com/showthread....energy-problem

So there is clearly nothing new in the OP. Thread closed. You get one 30 day bite at the ATM pie.
