In your typical high school or higher science class you have those black topped, acid resistant tables that you put four tall stools around. (The better to flick unexpected chemical by-products at each other.)
The feature(s) I'm curious to know about are:
The round, elevated lipped, usually stainless steel fixtures that are in the table tops that support the scaffolding that holds the various types of science glass.
The name of the scaffolding that holds the science glass if there is a general name for it. I don't really even have a good name to google around with.
It's been bugging me for days and this is the best place I could think of as a first start.
