    I disagree.

    It's not the Matterhorn.

    Not a B52 bomber.

    Not a dandelion.

That seems true. It isn't unusual to be loved by anyone. Anyone disagree on that?

Actually, the double negative and the rather open term "anyone" makes it a little vague.

Does it mean, "It's quite usual to be loved by someone"?

Or, "If you select a random person from a fairly large sample, the probability is high that he or she loves you"?

Do you mean any anyone, or the specific anyone who (not unusually) loves the implied subject of the passive statement?

I'm uncertain what Mike means but he/she appears to have made a universal not-unusuality. It could always fit for any picture posted, but it depends upon whomsoever anybody is.

I don't mean any anyone! (This part gets complicated.) Without telling you I set up a method to identify anybody by asking whether anybody disagreed. With respect, if you disagreed that made you anybody, so then it remained to find out whether it was or wasn't or is or isn't unusual to be loved by you.

More to the point, are we referring to eros or agape, or perhaps philia?

By "agape", do you mean "ah-gah-pay" or "a-gayp" or even "aga-pee-ee", the last of these being a form of physical exercise based around country stoves?

Asking this question is so much easier than untangling FarmMarsNow's post 167.

My apologies. I mistyped "asafetida", which I love as a minor spice in certain Indian side dishes, such as navratan dal.
