Not getting email notifications on "subscribed threads" posts

I have checked my settings and it looks like I have "instant email notification" indicated on all subscribed threads but I am not getting notifications. It must be my setting somehow. Has anyone had this problem or know what I should check or how to fix it?

Actually, it probably isn't your settings. There seems to be same major issues with the e-mail notification system.

I'm comforted to find that this is not my fault, lol. I searched and didn't find any others mentioning it so I thought it was me.
