I wish... but in a fair deal I could probably get a couple of dollars for it

Here's a link about it and a jpg of the date side.

5. interesting.

I bought a dollar off an American once, for one pound, when it was worth about 60pence. I've got it somewhere around my flat.

WOW... I'd like to see a picture of that

In the meantime... guess how much the bank (correctly) added to my account when I deposited this bag of nickels dimes and quarters.

OK... it's time to move on from this coin Guess Game... so according to my calculations... for anyone who understands basic math... the clues below are enough to make a VERY accurate guess.

All the coins were minted after 1965.
The total weight of the coins in the bag is 12.708 pounds.
----------------------------------------------------------
Nickel = 5.000 g

Dime = 2.268 g

Quarter = 5.670 g

1 pound = 453.6 g
----------------------------------------------------------
Nickels in the bag = 6.668 pounds (\$30.25)

Dimes and quarters in the bag = ? dollars.

How much did the bank (correctly) add to my account when I deposited the coins in the bag?

You may change your guess at any time (in a new post) up until I call this guessing game over.

it's not that interesting, but I wanted it because I had never seen one in real life before.

Then I think you got your money's worth.

Here's a look inside the bag of coins which might inspire you to take a guess

Why are there no pennies? Are they in a separate bag?

I completely filled a largish can (3.25" dia x 5.5" tall)
with pennies and took it to the bank. \$10.01

When I've taken pounds of pennies to the bank I've always been pleasantly surprised at what they amounted to.

I had \$36 dollars in pennies that I cashed in at Walmart at an 8% charge which I thought was a bargin... and I planned to roll the nickels dimes and quarters so my credit union would take them without charging 10% like my previous bank wanted to charge... but I then found out that my credit union would rather have the change unrolled... and that they don't charge a percentage for counting change.

Now... will you please make a guess

Well... "42" has just as much chance of being correct as any other guess so far

16. OK... it's time to move on from this coin Guess Game... so according to my calculations... for anyone who understands basic math... the clues below are enough to make a VERY accurate guess.

All the coins were minted after 1965.
The total weight of the coins in the bag is 12.708 pounds.

New clues below

Nickels = 6.668 pounds (\$30.25)... which leaves 6.04 pounds of Dimes and Quarters... so now the dollar amount of the dimes and quarters can be determined... then add that amount to the \$30.25 and you have the answer.
This coin guess game will end sometime Monday EST.
----------------------------------------------------------

Quarter = 5.670 g

Dimes and quarters in the bag = ? dollars.

How much did the bank (correctly) add to my account when I deposited the coins in the bag?

And remember... you may change your guess (in a new post).

Yes... not a blind... but it is the end/side view of a roll of (non-sticky) paper.

The paper on this roll is 2 1/4 inches wide and 130 feet long.

PS
I'll need to see some ID for that scotch

25. Darn. I thought it was a Cassini photo of Saturn's rings, including the newly discovered inner "girder" ring.
