I predict very few people will watch this movie.

It took me a while to understand why I dislike The Tree Stooges when so many apparently love them until I realized that it's because they're targeted to 8-year old boys and I didn't see them when I was 8, so I never got to see them as funny but rather as a severely dysfunctional family of morons.

From the trailer it looks like the produces share that opinion of them, but still try to cash in on the people who liked the original by having their actors going through the motions.

That those motions include actions which would kill instantly if performed in real life, leaves me even less impressed.

Someone hitting someone else in the head with a sledge hammer just plain isn't funny and really ought to get that movie a very nasty rating.

There's multipexes (multipices?) in Branford, near Exit 55 on I-95, in New Haven, downtown (Criterion), off Exit 8 from I-91, and on Universal Drive (Exit 9 of I-91) in North Haven, and at the Post Mall (which has some new name) in Milford. Alas, the Forest in West Haven is gone (as in vacant lot) and all the drive-ins are closed.

eta: Thanks to the censorship software the board uses, the name of the town between Stratford and West Haven was bleeped out. It has seven letters, starting with "Mil" and ending with "ford."

    Ok.

Um, what's with the anti-sentiment for the brand of humor that carried America through her first world war (and her second, K, VN, etc...)

If it wasn't viable, it wouldn't be returning to the box office this year.

Yeah, but: "This video contains content from WMG, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."

    What's going on?

I have no idea at all. Maybe your country's Time Travel Bureau has prohibited you to watch trailers for films not yet in the making and WMG is just enforcing their ruling?

Larry Fine's nephew was actually a conservative talk show host in Birmingham

    http://www.birminghamster.com/index102500.htm Scroll down

Make of that what you will.

In real life, he works for UAB as an injury epidemiologist/biostatistician. http://www.uab.edu/scib/DrFine.html
He worked with Loring Rue for this:

Matt Biddle and I shared the data of the project he worked on with them

The stooges actually spent some time here in Alabama. Not surprising really. Rumor has it that Lovecraft visited Moundville...

Publiusr: Russ and Dee. I was on the show several times, once to debate some JFK Conspiracy advocate and when he had the UFO Proponents on, he would call me to come by and argue with them...I think Lovecraft might have come by here once or twice, I heard of this when I lived in CT from the local Lovecraft guys...I thought the Stooges were running this place for years....

I would accuse Publiusr of making his post a day too early, but now I'm trying to remember exactly where he's located...
