There is a claim I looked at some time ago that the speed of light was alluded to in a certain religious book. the mathematics look like pure numerology to me and in fact I made a video pointing out the numerous errors in the equation. One such error (and by no means the only one) is the use of COS() which is somehow supposed to nullify the gravitational effect of the Moon on the oceans, and define an inertial reference frame by pretending the Earth isn't moving, or whatever you might find most convincing.
To cut to the point, I would really love to see an analysis of the claims which can be read at the following site:

I've been banging my head against this brick wall for over a year now and it hurts so I have decided to seek 3rd party arbitration and thought that Bad Astronomy would be the ideal place to come, so I really hope some of you guys will be suitable enthused to give this page a thorough analysis and proving it right/wrong rather than just dismissing it off hand.
