Scandle Sheet Headline: "Invisible Elf Seen Traveling at Faster Than Light Speed !!!"

"European scientists report fleeting images of what appears to be an otherwise invisible elf, composed entirely of tachyons and therefore FTL, in their particle detectors. Backtracking seems to indicate an origin in the Low Countries. Rumors of a lynch mob equipped with torches and pitchforks following the elf have not been peer reviewed, and are regarded as premature. Further reports are expected to follow."

Anybody else hear anyhing about this?

Regards, John M., with kind thanks to Van Rijn for permission.

All I can say that here in the Low Countries there seems to be a frantic search going on. Rumor has it that they are looking for an elf. Or were looking. Or going to be looking. Times are confusing when hunting FTLves.

The elf has been tracked to van Rijn's back yard. The Causality Protection Police have corrected the problem.

You people are making a big joke of this, but do you have any idea how serious it would be if Elrond got hold of the One Ring...

...and moved to van Rijn's back yard?????

Get a little perspective, people, please!

Ah, but if it's invisible, how can it be seen travelling FTL? It would have to be detected by ECC (elf cloud chamber)!

Maybe they just count the number of startled unicorns along the line of travel.

Yeah! Elrond in my back yard? I don't think so! Arwen or Galadriel sure, they can stay in my yard. Though if they're wearing the One Ring, that would be a bit of a concern.

I say there is an invisible elf in my backyard. How do you prove that I am wrong?
