There's no way she doesn't understand this...
I mean, everything in the sky does this; everything on her interactive sky charts does this. Always has.

Although, wait... This is the woman who thought something was wrong when the sun started getting higher in the sky every day after the Winter Solstice, and that temperatures were slowly dropping in the soutern hemisphere as spring approached in the north.

Oh, I don't know what to believe anymore.

Stories are being suppressed big time folks, removed from the internet, etc. It is my true belief that ALL of the posts concerning the cosmos are inter-related. Moon posts, ecliptic posts, now constellation post, are tied to EARTH CHANGES! The ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM IS IN TRANSITION!!
So how come this revelation is still posted? Are the government agents who delete net postings all on vacation?

Sadly I did not heed your warning. I am now typing with my third keyboard in two weeks.

    GREAT WORK, Charlie

but, sorry, Charlie, Starkist wants tuna that tastes good, not with good taste...whoops, wrong product.

Anyway, thanks, but I have a nice Memorex spill-proof keyboard that's still working after ~4000 man-hours at woo-woo sites, plus, remember those old monitor glare screens? Well, it's been a deflector screen for a long time now. Just need some kind of device to prevent any further damage to my brain.

Next post should be Milli pointing out that Scorpius is right-side-up, and that per GR, it's Nancy that's up-side-down. What a frame-up!

However, it appears to be such a great graphic (which of course means it's GOT to be a great bunch of products) that I may have to make a purchase after all.

Gotta have that NibiruNap high-grade rug cleaning service! But funds are kind of low right now. Would it be possible to buy it on the Battlestar Galactica installment plan where one pays just $2.00 a yarn?

I frequent GLP, tt-watch, and Zetatalk. I am very careful about having liquids in the vicinity on such occasions.

It seems that Nancy has caught Grant's disease and has somewhere lost the books that tell her that as the Earth rotates throughout the night that the Constellations also appear to rotate on amount (between 0° at the poles and 180° at the equator.)

Earth doesn't turns. If it would, I would have some problems with vertigo.

Well, since Ursa major is askew, why wouldn't Scorpius be upside down?

Did anyone else notice this little attempt to maintain the fiction that the Zetas were correct about Iraq?

Thought I'd stop in and see what you guys are up to in PX.

I see that her illustrations are from a software package--but she says the constellations never used to do that. Maybe she could show us some illustrations of what they used to do?

But the software package isn't showing Scorpius upside-down. Of course, I assume it's set for her latitude rather than for wherever her correspondents are (which she never bothers to mention).

You know, I'm starting to think that she changes the latitude based on e-mails she recieves. Wonder why the Moon is "too high" in the sky? Well, maybe she's pretending she's in Peru for the day. Does Orion seem to be upside down? Perhaps she got an e-mail from someone in New South Wales.

I've no intention of going to Nancy's web site, but someone might like to tell her that Scorpio looks really weird to me when compared with how she would have seen it a few years ago. It rises flat on its back in the southeast with its head on the left, tail on the right, curling downwards. Then it moves high towards the north and its tail goes right over my zenith, instead of heading low through the southern sky. Can you believe it??? Then it moves down towards the southwest and goes head-first below the horizon. Man, that's weird.

My astronomy program tells me that this has been happening for quite some time, but we don't want reality to spoil a good story, do we?

Remember, Kiwi, Scorpius is the astronomical constellation. Scorpio is the astrological sign.

The difference is usually an easy way to tell an astronomer from a...well, you know...

Ummm...isn't this the reason you need either good polar alignment or a field de-rotator to do long exposure astrophotography? An alt az mount would show star trails due to the rotation!
