I was going to a star viewing that was going on here in Florida, and it being Florida, unfortunately it was very cloudy and we missed out. The plan was to view a nova that had formed in a galaxy fairly recently. Must have been earlier this month.
I can't remember which galaxy it was observed in and was trying to get some information on it, maybe some images.
It was in either M-30, or M-31 I think, my memories not so good.
Is there a site or catalog that keeps track of Nova?
I found one linked to Harvard, but you need to have an account with them to pull it up.
