In an unprecedented move, eagles announced today that they had completed negotiations with weasels, trading their ability to fly, for weasels ability to not be sucked into jet engines.

    Robert Frost's first draft:

Whose woods these are I think I know.
    His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To fill his woods with yellow snow.

Was returned by his publisher for a rewrite.

Robert Frost's brother, Jack, was a noted ice painter until he was imprisoned for doodling on people's windows.

Well, that's not nearly as bad as the stories you hear about Jack; that he used to bite people on the face.

The US Operational Health and Safety Administration (OHSA) has banned the use of chalk (as in chalk and blackboards) in classrooms as an occupational health hazard for dust. Schools and businesses that use such equipment must remove them, or have all exposed employees wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).

A recent study by the MIT Department of Information Technology (J. Mod. Appl. Inf. Tech, 17, 634-641, 2012) found that 87% of the blog and forum postings, and 93% of the e-mail on the Internet was spam.

    Aerobiologosits finally witness mating

After decades of research, aerobiologists have finally witnessed the mating behavior of 747s. The image below is the first time scientists have been able to witness the mating of the magnificent aircraft.

One of the reasons it has taken so long to find this behavior is revealed in the photo below. Apparently, the male 747s are considerable smaller than the females, and until now, scientists thought they actually were a different species. Dr. Jonathan Fenbaucker, leader of the research group said, "Until now we have only seen the males in a few specific habitats, along the coast of Florida and in California. The females are seen all over the world. Though smaller, the males seem much faster than the females."

    Link to picture

They hope to track this female, observe her in her nest, and be the first to witness the hatching of the eggs.

Physicists have shown that increasing universal inflation is caused by speculation in dark matter.

using the ancient elements, earth and water together make dark matter, fire and air make inflation, but what makes physicists?

It's been calculated that a number of things make physicists.

I digress, getting back to the thread....
    The facts speak for themselves......apparently.

We know what makes politicians: fire and air. For physicists, you need some of the classical virtual elements, like logic.

Ah logic is where I ask one man "if I asked the other man which way to go what would he say?" and he says "pull the other one it's got Bell's Theorem on."
