According to Major League Baseball, the "Slide Rule" is that the runner, in the process of advancing from one base to the next, may do so by walking or running, or may slide into the base, in either a feet-first, or head-first position. The Slide Rule was replaced in 1982 by the Electronic Calculator Rule. Texas Instruments was the Official Electronic Calculator of Major League Baseball until 1997.

Aerial view of the so-called "NASA Lines"

Though some have proposed that these features were made by space travelers, it has been shown that they were actually formed by natural, geological processes.

The great thing about Latin is you hate it to learn it but you love showing off in front of munuments, and gravitas is great with sausage and mash.

Gravitas has been banned in all middle school cafeterias, as the students kept throwing it to the winds.

I left the money in the dustbin.

That took two and a half hours? That was low hanging fruit. Come on people, we got to stay on top of these things.

Office ferrets have dramatically reduced the practice of "prairie dogging" in large business offices. However, the time wasted by cubicle dwellers exclaiming, "Who's a cute boy? Who's a cute boy?" and "Hey, where did my apple go?" has risen to alarming levels.
So many bugs, so little time.

All you have to do to double the volume of a cube is add three more cubes.

The above statement is still false even if the new cubes have an average volume equal to 1/3 of the volume of the original cube.

Wasn't that the cause of the Franco-Prussian War?
