This is the first eruption of this recurrent nova (and SN Ia progenitor candidate) since 1966!!!!
The nova is expected to be at 8th mag tonight, and reach 6th magnitude in one week, at peak, if it behaves like its former eruption.
The position is:
R.A. = 9h04m41s.52 +/- 0s.01, Decl. = -32d22'47".5 +/- 0".2 (equinox 2000.0)
So, it's visible from the southern US.
