    Nuclear emergency reading list

    The aim of this thread is to compile links to basic reference materials relevant to nuclear power plant accidents. I have compiled this from Fukushima threads and some googling. If you have anything more, please add below.

    To convert to the units mostly seen here because the rem is strongly deprecated now, 1 mrem = 10 µSv, 1 rem = 10mSv.

    Since the other thread has shown that some people really like equating radiation-leaking power plants with exploding weapons, I'm throwing these in:

    Very Interesting site Thanks . But so "passé" if you authorise a french to use a french expression that unknown in France and only for american usage !
