Besides Earth and Moon, in the solar system what planet or moon do you like the most. which is most interesting to you?

For me it has to be Titan. I think that it is just a fascinating moon, that although it is like a billion k/m away orbiting Saturn, it still has a liquid on the surface, even though its methane, but still, i think it is amazing. and the surface is beautiful.

Or is there something else in the universe that you find interesting?

My fav things in the universe without a doubt are black holes my fav planet is Mars I have always been I love everything about it and hope one day that we will actually get to live there how awesome would that be

yeah that would be great. i guess my favorite planet would be Saturn, i love the rings that orbit around it, Saturn and Titan are my favorite.

From fiction... The Deep Space Nine Station. or Captain Packards Enterprise... or to be a little more realistic the future space base on the Moon...To do some out of atmosphere imaging... Yes, I pick the Moon.

Center of the galaxy. Being able to see the turbulence and warping of space-time around our central black hole while stars are wiped around at huge velocities.

black holes are very interesting, i wonder what happens when something gets sucked inside a black hole, where does it go?
does anybody know?

It's just another large mass, so about the same as if you plummeted into the Sun. Difference is the amount of gravity.

The old name for black holes when they were first theorized used to be gravistars, because that would be the only thing you'd be able to measure from them.

Favorite solar system object: Tough call between Jupiter and Saturn because they're both so spectacular in my telescope. I'll never forget the time I observed Jupiter from Great Basin National Park and saw the Great Red Spot and a lunar transit at the same time.

Chance to visit anywhere in the universe--another tough call! In no particular order:

A few thousand light years outside our own galaxy. Can you imagine how incredible our galaxy would look from that viewpoint? Not to mention all the other galaxies that would be visible.
Exploring the surface of Mars
Exploring the surface of an Earth-like planet
Viewing the Orion Nebula from a vantage point a few light years away.
Seeing a globular cluster from the inside

yeah i would love to view an Earth-like planet, that would be amazing.
I would love to go far out into the universe and look back at our galaxy. what a beautiful sight that would be.

I got fascinated by the moon Mimas not long ago, I was attracted by a NASA title of a photo of it "Moon wears a scar". I even composed a guitar instrumental with that title. It's the saturn moon which is quite plain apart from a huge crater. Mercury looks good right now with the 'Messenger' probe just arrived after it's quite incredible route to get there. There may be ice there.
'Anywhere' though...hmmm...Submarine holiday on Europa?....

For the solar system it's a toss up between Mars and Venus for their beauty in the night sky and their dynamic environments.

For the Universe I'd like to visit a binary system with a neutron star in close orbit with it's stellar partner, also redshifter's idea of viewing the Milky Way from outside would be amazing.

If time travel is allowed I'd like to see the formation of the Moon from a large body impacting the early Earth.

Jupiter and its moons, it's like a microcosm of the Solar System.

I like 2060 Chiron. Sometimes it plays like a comet and then it switches to a mere asteroid. Tiny, but neat.
