Just got it and browsed prior to reading. Quicky reaction: there's more info than I need to know about competition between the teams searching for the missing stuff. These particular chapters are likely to be of more interest to people in the business, who want to track their friends and rivals. The rest looks really helpful to me, as a non-science type. Greene always rights lucidly, without missing any needed complexities to the subject.
I have a copy, from the Phoenix public library. It's intended for an audience of the mathematically illiterate. Its seems way too wordy, and I was not enticed to read it. Back it goes.
Brian Greene is a very good writer IMHO. He really makes this subject accessible for all levels. You can skip certain parts if you feel they are too easy, but it is a good refresher...
Why is this in the "Bad Astronomy" section?
