is the asteroid 2023 Asaph a threat?

I ask this because recently someone on both Youtube and another space related article mentioned what i'm guessing is this since he said "An Asteroid will crash into Earth that year!"

Any truth to this guy's claim?

NO.

2023 is just it's name ( Asteroid Pallas, for example, is '2' ).

Here : http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?orb=1;sstr=2023 - you can see its orbit - it comes nowhere near the Earth and has no chance of becoming a threat to the Earth now, or in the future. It spends its entire life outside the orbit of Mars.

Asteroid 2010 Chebyshev - similarly - is not impacting the Earth this year - http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?orb=1;sstr=2010

Nor Veteraniya next year - http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?orb=1;sstr=2011
