Yes; if your microwave is leaking microwave radiation, this is bad for your health. Microwaves are pretty cheap.

Might be more unhealthy if your wife finds out. Or the door falls on your toes....or a more probable one....you grow your own blackhole in your kitchen and tell us all about it.

You know that old urban myth about the cat in the microwave oven? Well, your whole kitchen is now the microwave oven, and you're the cat.

They're still pretty cheap; less than $200.

Oh, you're going to die alright. Eventually. That's one of the two things in life you can be absolutely sure about.

Well, it's the only one really, because the other can be avoided by living on a deserted island.

At least death doesn't get worse every time that Congress meets.

This could be an urban myth but was reported in a major newspaper as news, back when microwaves were pretty new here.

Apparently a pie cart owner had put in a microwave oven, to keep the pies warm.

He removed the door and got around the interlock that prevented the thing running.

After too much reaching in to grab pies, he found his arm wasn't working well any more...

(Again, I read it myself and this was reported as real, but it's hard to tell...)

You might feel a little warm.

There's an apocryphal story that microwave ovens were invented when a radarman/comm tech discovered that a chocolate bar in his pocket melted after he had been standing in front of a radar dish.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading about microwave ovens, minus doors and having been rigged appropriately, being used to distract missiles during the conflict in Yugoslavia.
