Hi Fraser, could I have permission to encourage BAUT visitors to enter this very cool science competition? This is what I'd like to say, but not sure of the best place to say it
I am not one of the judges, but it would be awesome if an Astronomy video won one of the divisions of the 2012 Science video competition. There is up to $400 in cash prizes to be won in most divisions, with a total prize pool of $10K. Fraser, I could use URL's and trahscripts of early Universe Today podcasts. I am missing only one from 2005, 05-04-11 Dark Energy Stars. Pamela came online June 11, 2006 when you started calling the podcasts Astronomy Cast. I have all those podcasts, URL's, and transcripts, but from 2006 I am missing 06-06-01 Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory

If the universe exploded from one single point, and everything travels away from that point how do galaxies colide ? do they move at different speeds, or change direction ?..
