I have done that many times, but the worst is listening to the weather forecast, they tell you it is going to be dry and sunny only to be caught short in the wettest day of the month.

Why is it, that only on that really rainy day (today for instance) do you forget an umbrella, forget a raincoat and have to take four cross-campus strolls to deal with paperwork and THEN once you've done all this and are drying out, you realize you forgot to do something and have to go YET AGAIN? Oh, well, back in the puddle again...
