  1. Chrissy. Jasmines like it warm and tropical in the summer, with rain and full sun with more intermittent watering in the winter...let em dry a little, like a geranium, with the short days and long nights. All houseplants flower more if you use Messenger, an immune system stimulant from Eden Bioscience in Oregon,USA. I don't know if they sell it internationally, but if you can't find it, I'll find you some. Pete

It doesn't get that much wind at it as I have it in a good sheltered spot, I have replanted it in a more protected place and it is doing a bit better but it has taken a year to almost recover, but the other advice thank you for that.
Now I have Jasmine is it better to cut it back in the Autumn or leave it, I have both yellow and white, the yellow is a slow grower and I love the way it grows but my white one grows pretty quickly?
You have asked for it mind.
  3. Chrissy. Pieris leaves wiill drop off if the plant receives lots of wind and sunshine in the winter. A protected site helps a bit, sheltering the plant from windburn. Increasing organic matter in the soil gives it a water reservoir to work on, but our New England climate requires application of a winter anti-dessicant spray. Wilt-pruf is a waxy emulsion similar to hair conditioner in texture...dilute it with water ~ 10 water to 1 Wilt-pruf, and spray the leaves, upper surfaces only. Additionally, they like a slight acid food, like Holly-tone, and a good thick mulch to keep soil temperatures even.
    Ciao. Pete
