Here is an image of the Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635) along with Open Cluster M52 also known as "October Salt & Pepper."

This is 90 minutes of Ha, 30 minutes of luminance, and 20 minutes each of RGB. Ha and Lum were unbinnned, RGB binned 2x2.

While I am happy with the detail in the image, I feel that the color is off. I think I need to re-do my processing using Gendler's or others Ha methods to combine the data. I added the Ha to the Luminance and to the Red, hoping to have color balance and red while not limiting the Ha data with the relatively noisy red data. That will have to wait for another day.

Thanks for looking.

Hello Andy:
This is a nebula that has a very difficult structure.
On the one hand the bubble always is photogenic, but not cloudy it accompanies.
Nevertheless, you have managed to catch much of her, in a balanced good picture with M52.
Many greetings
Cesar

Looks pretty good to me. I just finished LRGB, Ha, and NIR exposures on the same subjects, but haven't done any processing. I hope mine turn out as well as yours.

Hi Andy, You did pretty good I like it very much. Normally the whole area would be red in color from the dust and managed to the bubble area and making the cluster stand out. A job welldone and Clear Skies my friend.

Thanks Efrain. I'm not sure if the lack of broader visibility of the nebula is a feature or a bug. My Luminance only image has it, but I lost it when I added the color.

I think I just have too little color data.
