(This is a thread about a dream. I know such threads already exist, but I couldn't find a suitable one to bring back from the depths.)
None of my dreams ever make much sense, but I had a cool one last night. We (as in, myself and whatever other mix of random people and made-up people) were on a cruise ship returning home. It was the last night out at sea, but we were still far enough from anything that the sky was dark and clear.
And there were stars. Thousands of them. More than I've ever seen in these mediocre Ohio skies. Orion was there, and so were the Ursa's. And there was a really cool, dense cluster of stars that made up a minotaur constellation that is non-existent (the stars were so many and so perfectly placed, it was like an actual little picture of a minotaur).
I spent most of the dream avoiding the other people so I could sit and watch the stars. It was nice, and probably a product of the clear, mild temperature nights we've had all week that have let me sit outside for a bit and look at the sky.
