Recently writing on panspermia, I was surprised to find some pomegranates fruiting out of season the other day. Researching the pomegranite on Wikipedia I was even more surprised to find this on wikipedia "...on Christmas Day, it is traditional to have at the dinner table "polysporia", also known by their ancient name "panspermia," in some regions of Greece."

Does that mean that pomegranites are of extraterrestrial origin?

Haha, that's funny!
I drink pomegranate juice (well, what I drink is more a puree, thick, maltlike), yummy!

Well they sure look alien. Almost as much as tomatos.
But seriously, They are "seeds everywhere" thus "panspermia".

When I was a kid, some 30 years ago, my mom brought some pomegranates back from a short vacation in Tunesia. It was the weirdest fruit I'd ever seen.. tasty though. Now the world has become much smaller, and many 'weird' fruits are standard in supermarkets here.

We enjoyed spitting the seeds at each other as kids. But, a recent encounter with a few guys from the Dominican....says they roll them hard on a firm surface, bursting the seeds internally. Then you stick a stiff plastic straw thru the wall....sip the juice and toss it...no mess. pete

I have a pomegranate tree (more like a bush since it wants to be multi-trunked) in my yard. I also build simple furniture from wood. I notice everytime I fool with eating the pomegranates, I get red stains on my hands.
Therefore: I ask: Is there a way to use pomegranate juice as a wood stain?

You can pretty much use any juice as a stain, it's just a matter of getting something to 'fix' the color so it doesn't fade or wash away., adding some alum or salts should help. Also it's not going to be like a store bought stain where you can add a single thin coat and be done. Multiple coats would need to be done.
I did a quick Google on making natural stains..
