Saturn is the solar system's fastest-rotating planet, so perhaps it's no coincidence that monstrous cloud rings encircle both of its poles.

From page 16 of the January 2009 issue of Sky & Telescope:

A quick check of Wikipedia give Saturn's rotation period as 10.5 hours. This is shorter than Jupiter's 12 hour equatorial period. So, at a glance, S&T is correct.

Jupiter's rotation period is 9 hours, 55 minutes.

Yes, that's true. I read the wrong line in the table. I retract my earlier statement.
