yep, leaving tomorrow morning. I'm flying to Geneva and will stay there a night before taking the train to Bern for a conference where we'll talk about Mars.

And the boss was real cool with me taking extra time for myself afterward, so I'll be in Germany for a week or more: all told 14 days in Europe. I hope I don't get bored.

Yeah, stay in one place would be my advice. Switzerland is lovely!

Anyway, have fun, be safe, etc, etc.

Will you have time to blog?

Well, you were at home for almost what, two months, after your Arctic expedition? You're long over-due for a globe-trot. ;)

Edit: oops, forgot. Goodluck and godspeed on your newest voyage!

Have a good trip! If you come up this way shoot me a PM. Bit far from where you'll be though.

You get to go to the coolest places, crosscountry!

(Although, what could I expect from somebody named for my favorite sport?)

Thanks everyone, and thank you for the invitation Jay200. I will be in Stuttgart for several days, and Potsdam is a wonderful place. But I don't think I can get that far north.

I'll keep the blog up to date with pictures :D

Check out the area around Lake Constance if you can. And the zeppelin museum in Friedrichshafen. Lovely, lovely place.
