Why the scare headline? Why so many exclamation marks?

Why in the Bad Astronomy website section? Is it a parody of bad space reporting?

Why so late? On initial inspection done many hours ago, in the news almost 9 hours before yours, reported on BAUT in an article in the STS-125 mission news topic (http://www.bautforum.com/1487791-post291.html) a couple hours before yours, this damage was determined minor.

Why not give the links here rather than route people through your site, on to publicly available materials, like CNN video?
