Tara's Snapple-cap, which have random "trivia" on them, said that Feb 1865 was the only month in recorded history to not have a full moon.

Well, that didn't sound right to me. I mean, I could see that being possible, due to the shortness of the month. But if it were possible, then it only occurring once didn't make sense.

A quick search on the internet reveals this is, indeed untrue. Also, it appears to be a claim that many of you into Astronomy have heard before. Oddly, it appears that particular Feb DID have a full moon, but there have been others that did not. So both parts of the claim are wrong.

This marks the first time that a beverage bottle has lied to me . . . you know, barring any health related claims, any claims of tasting colder than other beverages / that you can taste the Rockies, and claims that the particular beverage tastes the same as the non-diet version.

Right, right.

Actually, when I was still on the MythBusters forum, that one came up a lot. People would get giant forwarded lists of "facts" and post them on the board to see if they were all true, which invariably they were not. I once took the time to actually research, by myself, an entire list. I think perhaps two of them were correct; this one was on it and, as mentioned, was not one of them.

Bad Astronomy Beverage

Speaking of which, if you went into your local drinking establishment and asked the barkeeper for a Bad Astronomy, would should you get? No, not stared at. What should be the recipe for a Bad Astronomy?

(I got a feeling it might be served from a punch bowl.)

A Bad Astronomy is any drink that leads to passing out face down, as it makes it hard to see the stars (Of course, face up lends itself to drowining in your own vomit. Not a pretty way to go, if you ask me).
