Well. I survived a grand total of nine days without posting on the BABB (wilfully, mind you). It was strange, I didn't really suffer from severe withdrawals or or anything either. Anyways.
I would like to thank, first and foremost, the Bad Astronomer for putting up such a justifiably addictive website, and also for writing an excellent book (which I have finally become a happy owner of). Phil, thank you for keeping this place civil, intelligent, and fun.
Next, I'd like to thank (in no particular order at all) Humphrey, Colt, Musashi, kilopi, Space Trekkie, Space Cadet, Glom, The Supreme Canuck... Oh, heck. There are too many of you to name. An equal amount of thanks to everyone on this board for posting such wonderfully fluffy and also intelligent things.
Also, a big thank you to the folks who frequent the BABB IRC channel for being tolerant of my seeming obsesion with my PS2 and games. I just want you to know that I've reformed from blabbing about that stuff. If I start talking about video games, send a virtual slap or something.
For the past several days, I've come very close to posting in some topics. I was amazed that I had the self-control to not post. Thank you for posting quick replies that would make mine seem very late.
Also, I will not be posting so much fluff even though the urge is often strong. This does not mean that I will completely refrain from fluffing; it means I won't post as much. :D Yes Humphrey, you were probably right in that post.
Lastly (An afterthought actually. Shows how much I care for her, huh?), I'd like to flip the bird to Nancy. You are truly an inspiration for us all... or not.
