Now that Lulin seems to be a thing of the past, I thought I'd have a look at some other (though not as spectacular) comets. Here is a quick look at C/2009 B2 (LINEAR) using a remote observatory in Moorook, Southern Australia.

So, how was that an evenings entertainment for me?
Looking closer at the LRG animation, 2 things looked interesting. See if you can spot them before clicking on the image....

A bit of a clue. I spent quite some time over at the Minor Planet & Comet Ephemeris Service. Well...there wasn't much on TV.

Clear skies!

Thanks for your comments. Hey winensky, love your sig. That's just what I was thinking when I spotted the other movers in the animation. They weren't in my database, so I had to spend a few hours in identification.
I'm currently following up on some other recent observations. I have one mover I can't identify
