Hello everybody! This is my very first posting, so I am going to use it say hello to you all and what a pleasure it is for me to be a member of this website. To be be honest, for quite some time I have been under the impression that a website called "Bad Astronomy" could not be anything good. However, just recently I decided to take a closer look and saw what it was all about. I think the idea is not only good but but much needed.
Now here is a question within a question: on which forum should I post the following question with any hope of getting any feed-back? This question is: at what distance from Earth would I have to be if one orbit were to take seven days to complete? Let's say that I am travelling in a spaceship with the mass of a Soyuz vehicle. I wonder if anybody can tell me that or tell me where I should post it. Best wishes from space-mad Lonecat!
