I found a box of Sci-fi magazines in my basement from years ago. I used to be a big sci-fi magazine reader but haven't had a subscription in years.
Being 2:30ish in the morning, I jumped on the Analog web page and placed an order. I need a 24 hour book store in this town!
Can anyone suggest other magazines to check out?

Asimov's Science Fiction
Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction.
With Analog, those are the big three.
Analog leans more toward hard sf but sometimes the writing quality isn't as good as the concepts (as is often the case in sf). Asimov's is more literary but can go to the other extreme, with well-written pieces that sometimes don't seem to have any point that I can find. F&SF is more eclectic and - as the title indicates - prints fantasy as well as science fiction, though it's mostly sf.

In Britain there's Interzone, which I haven't read for years.
I edited a magazine called Substance which ran for four issues in the mid 90s and featured Stephen Baxter, and some not-so-well-known-but-darned-fine writers.
Of the ones mentioned, I find F&SF to be the most likeable. The emphasis seems to be on telling compelling stories.
