I heard an obscure song my Queen yesterday on TV and it reminded me that I have not seen you post in quite a while. Hope it's nothing serious that keeps you away from us. "It's a madhouse!" here. Come on back and add some sanity - even if it's only to ban someone. :)

I couldn't figure out why a Queen song made you think of Serenitude, until I remembered the avatar. :)

(BTW, before Gillianren gets here, the word is "wherefore," but it actually means "why" or "for what reason," not "where")

ah, that would explain all those SQL errors I keep getting.

Title changed.
For latecomers, SeanF's comment was about the earlier version.

Aww, I hope he's not gone.

Whenever it looked like I was deriding guys who were "flamboyant" Seren would get all .... hmmm testy isn't the right word... I guess defensive is better but paints the wrong picture. Ah! I know! He acts like he expects me to go on some homophobic rant and he'll have to ban me or something. I like don't know any better.*

So, since I find this amusing I had a prepared script for the next time. To see where the limits are with him. Though the main danger to that one is another mod stepping in and killing me before Seren had come to a full boil and I whipped out the (j/k!) card. Fortunately for my diabolical scheme Seren was on in the evenings a lot, when most of the *mean* mods are in bed.

Even wrote my own jokes for the occasion. Thought hard where the edge of the banning cliff was and pulled it back about two feet. So I was going to work in stuff you had to think about and most likely dismiss as my usual brain damaged babble.

Stuff like, "Aw. c'mon! You don't expect me to say bannable stuff like, "What do Jorgen von Strangle and Vin Diesel have in common?" Do you? Stuff like that. Though only Kai might get that one.

So you can see where I would be crushed if he were not coming back.

*I live in San Francisco. I like to tell tales of people doing odd and funny things. Since the "flamboyant" don't hide here and do odd and funny things as much as the rest of humanity I talk about them too. Seren thought the worst at first. I can see it from his side though.

I always have to reconstruct that "therefore" can mean "because", therefore "wherefore" means "why". Why? Because!

For this, we can all probably blame too-early exposure to that writer-guy, Shakespeare, making us think Juliet was seeking Romeo, which seems more sensical to a young mind than Juliet asking herself why Romeo is Romeo.

Yeah, Serenitude dude, you're mist. And missed. Wherefore?

I thought "where fore" meant "why are you golfing?"

All these years and I never made the association of "wherefore" with "therefore."

Somewhere, recently, I read a post from one of the mods saying that Serenitude has less time for the forum because of a job change. Can't find it at present, but it stuck in my mind because I, too, was wondering where he was.

I seem to recall that aswell. Hope he's doing well. Always enjoyed his participation.

Edit: IIRC, it was Tooseek who made the post, so he must know what's up. Then again, he's Tooseek...he *always* knows what's up.

I think Antoniseb said that.
Said that Serenitude has been busy with work but drops by for an occasional banning. I'm doin serious multi-tasking what with a Lot of Invoices and paperwork on the computer, a sicko kiddo, chatting online with my sons mom who is stressed out and having a hard time in life right now and needing encouragement- Otherwise, I would look it up for ya- but that should give you the right direction;)

I see Serenitude a bit elsewhere. He explained that his recent absence was due to a combination of family and work matters. But he has more time again, so we should be seeing more of him soon.

Oh come'on! I'm insulted! ...and you mean that they both have a preference for wearing cammo pants, right? ;)
