See if you can keep up with this game:

After careful study, I was able to determine that string theory is actually like we're living on the strands of time like strings lining the interior of a soccer ball, homologus to equipotential equivalents of equidistance to the background radiation.

Your turn!

Sounds like a fun game, could you explain how to play in a bit more detail please? Rules etc.

Uh, you do realize the details would be two years old?

Note that the strands of time themselves move through (or pass by) time; if one normalizes the individual time strings over all time, the result is a dimensionless number related to the fine-structure constant.

As strands of time through an hourglass, so go the Days of Our BAUTs

False vacuum decay.

The "false vacuum cleaner" I constructed from twigs and carrots is no more. It was powered by my going "brrmm-brrmm" and its sole purpose was so I could tell people in the pub that "String theories had their day in the 70s". Only the bearings (cigarette butts) are still intact.
