Name the good comedies. Not necessarily the funniest or the laugh-out-loudest, merely the ones you thought were good.

I have not see Buckaroo.
Princess Bride is a classic, though it wasn't universally loved when it came out.
The Fifth Element is considered a good space movie on this board, I suspect it will do well in this poll. I liked it.
Death Race 2000 is pure enjoyable camp--and it knows it.

I am mystified as to why Pirates of the Carribean and The Princess Bride are in contention. I like them both, but neither even pretends to come close to being "SF" (whether the letters stand for "Science Fiction", "Speculative Fiction" or even "Space Fantasy").
Sure The Princess Bride is a better film than Death Race 2000, but the latter is SF and belongs on the list (even if it doesn't get any votes), whereas the former is not and does not.

I used SF because sci-fi/fantasy was getting unwieldy. I have seen stories under speculative fiction that are sheer fantasy. Maybe I should have written S/F.

The Princess Bride is indeed a masterpiece; the best fantasy film ever, I think, but no, it isn't scifi.

No there are better fantasy films, LotR and Lion Witch and the Wardrobe spring to mind immediately and I'd even go as far as suggesting that Conan the Barbarian is certainly a better fantasy movie.
However it is the best fanstasy/romance/comedy/action movie.

Yes. ;)
It was stupid, but it had its moments. Only a few films have ever been shut out in these polls, and this wasn't THAT bad. :)

None of the movies have been shut out in this poll. Man in the White Suit does have a write-in that doesn't show up in the poll. Armageddon is the biggest name to be shut-out so far in these polls (in the Best of Space poll).
