A magnitude 15.9 Supernova, 2006iv (http://www.moonbase.be/html/gallery/sn/sn2006iv.htm), was discovered on the 22nd september, 2006, by Grzegorz Duszanowicz in the galaxy UGC 6774 in the constellation Ursa Major.
The supernova (http://www.astrosurf.com/snweb2/2006/06iv/) is located 7" east and 18" south of the centre of UGC 6774 .
Position(2000): 11h48m12s.35, Dec. = +54°59'14".6
As yet the type is unknown.
