mahesh
2008-Nov-22, 01:07 PM
Needless to say,geo.., lots of distinguished players / batsmen have tripped over too!
Most famous one has been one of Ian Botham's hit-wicket, (that's what such collisions are called) and the follow-up on radio, the two commentators were in stitches, and the rest of the cricketing world has been too, since then.
if you can spare a mo...it's the second one, on the link.

starts at 37 seconds, for about a minute. have the speakers on. it was at the end of day's play, summarising stuff.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ScGbZ9SE2jw&eurl=http://www.sixandout.net/blast-from-the-past-ian-botham-hit-wicket/

(shame about the last one, i apologise for that one....that's so unsportsmanlike. nah. that one is not cricket.)
hope you are able to enjoy it too. cricket or no cricket, it's the ambience that makes laughter.
but this one is definitely cricket!
