Burning red Aluminum can not exist in air, burning white Aluminum encased in red glowing Aluminum Oxide can.

Aluminum burned in kerosene then heated from under the pan with a slow flowing air current over the top.
Since it is red the Klingon's are involved as that is the color of the Empire.
Actually my theory is simple Kerosene, a plane, a burning building, all combine in dynamic situations that can make educated people trying to understand them say stupid things.
That leads to conspiracy theories and arguments that get out of hand, and intense desire to debunk and no prisoners no quarter discussion.
However eventually science winds and the offenders are hung from a gilded scaffold as were alchemist of old.

True, I just hope that now some of the factors are known that others will reproduce the work, in a more controlled way. So that a more scientific paper can be published, the work is still on going though.

In particular, I like the emphasis on the scientific method, and using experiments to find things out, and the comparison with the conspiracy theorists and their "reverse scientific method."

You know, that brings up a good point. There were a lot more combustible materials on that day than jet fuel. I'm sure they had an impact beyond the fire that happened previously about ten years before that didn't result in a collapse. I wonder if the fact that no windows (oxygen) were broken during the previous fire had anything to do with the fact that the building without that fire, and collapsed with the 911 fire?
