I guess the admin is busy enougth so I am not
too serious here. But I just noticed that we
can add names to an "ignore" feature. OK,
how about a list showing who has collected the
most "ignore" votes:) Also there seem to be
many defunct members. A histogram of posting
activity by year might be interesting. I did
suggest before site hit stats would be useful.
I will keep dreaming!

I've thought about what would it be like if underneath everyone's username there was an "Ignored by: " number, but thinking it through it occured to me that it might be unfair by giving new members the impression that posters with a high number don't have anything valid to contribute. In fact, thinking about it now, wouldn't those who happen to get a higher than average number have a tendency for that number to keep increasing?
It'd probably be surprising though the amount of zeros we'd see. :D

I was thinking of a dialed up page with the
stats. But it might hurt peoples feelings so
it should be kept discreet! But that such a
feature exists is interesting. Apart from
that I am all for seeing all sorts of posting
statistics as pretty graphs, histograms etc.

I'm sorry. Did you say something?
Just kidding, of course. I haven't felt the need to ignore anyone, if anyone annoys me, I just don't read their posts. Some things you don't really need a computer for.

Ignoring a person isn't the most useful function, since they still show up as having posted in the thread.
Ignoring a thread would be so much more useful. :)
